Soaker

Just take your time – it will be good.

A soaker is our trick for truly juicy and more digestible bread: seeds, flakes, or nuts are soaked in water before baking and allowed to "swell" in peace. This way, they absorb moisture without later drawing water from the dough.

You'll notice the result with the first bite: more juiciness, better crumb, stays fresh longer – and the grains remain pleasantly soft, not hard or dry. That's exactly how we like it.

Why We Love Source Bits:

- make bread juicier and more stable

- ensure a uniform, beautiful crumb structure

- bring out more flavor from seeds & nuts

- simply keep bread pleasantly fresh for longer

- The bread is easier to digest.

Many of our breads contain such a soaker – depending on the variety, with pumpkin seeds, walnuts, oat flakes & co.

Our Sourdough

Sourdough is our natural dough starter made from flour and water. The long fermentation time creates more flavor, a stable dough structure, and breads that stay fresh longer.
